Carlos and General B Construction did the remodel work on my kitchen - not a huge project, but important to me! Carlos was realistic and completely accurate about the timetable for when he could start work and how long each stage would take. He was easy to work with and skillfully creative in adjusting for the few unforeseeable issues that revealed themselves during the work. Now every day I enjoy my functional, beautiful, and fully up-to-code kitchen.

I own a large house in Oakland that needed a new foundation. A structural engineer I trust recommended Carlos Ramos, and his bid was competitive with the other bid I solicited. I could not be happier with the quality of their work, and there were no unexpected "surprises" or cost overruns. The project started on time, and was completed on schedule. Carlos always timed the needed building inspections to ensure there were never any delays in the project. His crew was professional, and always courteous. I was so pleased with his work, I have already talked to Carlos about our next house project, a bathroom remodel.

Look no further. Seriously. Carlos and his crew are terrific. Carlos cares a great deal about the customer's satisfaction and it has shown from the very first visit to our house and is ongoing to this day after the project was completed. The three things that my wife and I valued most in a contractor for our project was communication, a trusting relationship, and budget. Carlos meets all of these characteristics and more. I would highly recommend Carlos for any project big and small. He and his team lifted our one story house and added a new foundation and a completely new floor to the house all the while staying within budget. His crew is very talented and skilled in their craft as well as being very warm and patient. My wife and I are so happy with the work and choices that Carlos helped us with. He is absolutely wonderful to work with.

I have been using General B Construction for years now. I have also had built or have built multiple custom homes. Carlos will provide the best possible work you can imagine. His team is able to solve any problem that may arise. He has done new construction that seamlessly matches of a Spanish revival home. I have had him install a new kitchen, new roof, patio and path paving as well as new construction addition of bath , laundry room, bed room, hall and family room. His crew is a turn key operation and has my highest recommendation. I have been around to know excellent work when I see it.

Plus they’re honest and kind people who take pride in their work, and who we enjoyed having around our home. And their cost is very reasonable considering the quality of their work.
